My bc issue
I got Mirena taken out last week and I started spotting then bleeding the next day. Is that considered a period? I'm still bleeding but I think it's ending. I got the patch for birth control because I really don't know what the heck to get! Now that I've had my "period" I kind of regret taking the Mirena out but I don't think my body was acceptive of the foreign object etc. and I don't think my body liked the hormones. I was starting to feel like I needed a break from it. I also have fibromyalgia so I was more worried how it was affecting my pain.
I've stopped before for 3 years and I was feeling good. Then I got pregnant and talked into Mirena for the 2nd time. And I kinda wanna be bc free again but I really want to protect myself from pregnancy for another year or 2. Condoms is what we're using now and will always be our go to. I just wish there wasn't such harsh ways to protect myself. I was trying to look into hormone free or low amounts but I got turned off by everything I was reading. I have an appt next week with a dr I haven't seen before but I'm hoping they will help with more useful info on bc for me.
I had to completly stop taking birth control because every single one made my hormones beyond crazy! If you want to take a break from birth control, use condoms, and if your SO isn't up for that tell him you'll have to obtain. You'd be surprised how fast they become okay with condoms.
DH and I have been using condoms for 6 years now exclusively, and he now understands how awful birth control messed with my hormones and gladly wears a condom. Our biggest problem was condom size. It was cutting his circulation off, so we got the larger size (and it is made so if can fit someone who isn't large just in case) we also don't use latex we have the skyn lifestyles brand, and DH always says he likes it because he lasts way longer on it, which is a bonus! We only got pregnant when we pulled the goalie and wanted to so they are pretty effective of you put them on right.
I will never go on birth control again becsuse I just turn into such a catty, rude, and crazy person, as well as over emotional, the worst part is the last time I went of bc I was off for like a year, when I got the depo (needle) it literally took one shot for me to swear off bc forever, but took almost a year for my body to sort through all that bull crap
That's how I felt with the Mirena! I've heard mixed reviews on the patch. The dr I saw said she used to get headaches on it and is using the ring but I don't know how comfortable I am using the ring.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
My doctor told me that some of the ones she put me on were hormone free but it still effected me drastically. We always say that if for some reason a condom doesn't work it was meant to be, but so far it hasn't happened, so we are going to stick to condoms till we are done with kids. It's crazy how much better sex drive I have off, how much better in life I feel, and how much less we argue without my extra crazy hormones
