Pregnancy symptoms
I have Mirena and have pregnancy symptoms but negative tests. I hate how you can have symptoms that are similar to pregnancy. But here I am with almost a 2nd missed period, have had Mirena for 11 months with a period every month. I've been trying not to think about it but then I get light headed/dizzy, right now I'm nauseous for the 3rd night in a row. So now I'm really thinking about if I could seriously be pregnant. I had some spotting but dr said it was just irregular bleeding from the IUD. Idk what to think.
Aw man! Haha I mean I was just trying to experiment to see what's gonna work but thank you so much for sharing. I wanted to get the pill but I have fibromyalgia and I've been doing some research. I read hormone birth control may worse my symptoms but the dr said there's no evidence it's related. Haha! I just thought that was so basic to say. I'm just tired of filling my body with things that aren't good for it. Especially bc. It's not easy to switch up all the time. But I do feel a lot better without the Mirena! Thankfully.
I got it taken out today. I couldn't handle the pregnancy symptoms and being worried what if because it's not easy to track periods. I also had spotting before and after my 1st missed period or also known with Mirena as irregular bleeding. It just wasn't worth it for me. We don't even have a lot of sex. He's always tired so maybe once a week if I'm lucky. I just picked up the patch but I'm going to do more reading up on it before I use it because Drs at the hospital I go to treat us like cattle and don't explain things to us in depth. If I'm not on the patch we'll have to use condoms. Eh. They're worse things haha!
I was afraid of the other forms of bc mostly because of hormones and something being inside of me that shouldn't be. If you anyone has input on birth control I'd like to hear it :) Or if you have the patch.
I didn't mind the patch, the worst part was after a week it started peeling a little and get linty and a little gross looking, got use to it though. It made me hormonal, but all birth control does that. So we use condoms. I heard in the next year or so they will be introducing male birth control, it's one shot a year and you start shooting blanks for over a year - just in the process of testing now on humans and it's reversible if need to! I can't wait for male birth control
