Girrrrl! You better at least start little by little. Haha it's totally overwhelming to do it the way I did (all in one day). And I'm totally feeling the pain this morning from reaching down and up from doing laundry. My poor back ? I still have the crib bedding to wash, even though he's not sleeping in it for a while. I'd rather do it just in case I'm in his room doing something and I need to put him in it.

Lol my baby shower was a few days ago but I'm 38+2 and still haven't started the laundry, you just motivated me I think lol

I gotta go exchange 3 packs of hangers because I have OCD and I want my hangers all blue not green. I tried to use the lime green ones I got from babyshower and a pack of the pastey green but I just can't. Lol So I put the none blue ones on the other side of the closet that has 6 months+. I have a problem, I know. I'm ashamed haha I just like things neat and organized. Especially in a closet.

I've washed all my baby clothes sizes newborn through 6 months and organized them a few weeks ago. However, I just got around to washing the swing and bouncer today. Car seat installed 2 weeks ago.

I washed all newborn - 3 months clothing, even new clothing. I think it's just best if it's nice and soft ready for him to wear. I wouldn't want to find out the hard way if he reacts to it. His skin will be so sensitive.

I don't have much energy to do all this and my lower back kills me but I've already waited too long to do this. I gotta get his stuff done so I can pack our bags and get my house clean. My mil is staying with us for a month.

My mil has told me many times don't take the tags off blah blah you can exchange them. I don't really care. I'm pretty sure my kid will use all his clothes, I mean I'll be the one dressing him. His newborn clothing was mostly all used that I got for a great deal as a lot. My mil and I bought a few newborn outfits but everything else is 3 months+. And if he doesn't use it then I'll be taking advantage of the resale baby stores and trade for useful sizes. Yeah you don't get full price worth but I didn't spend much on his closet so I'm okay with that.

I just washed my swing and bouncer covers last night. Both items were used by my niece.

As for clothes, I've washed a couple newborn outfits and all her blankets. I'm nervous to wash too many clothes because what if she is too big and never needs that size or has too many? At least if the tag is on I can exchange for a larger size. I haven't totally decided what to do. I wear my clothes straight from the rack without washing. Maybe I can just see if my baby girl has sensitive skin? That's the reason people wash their clothes first, right? Maybe I'm just being lazy lol

I washed all baby boys clothes today... That's about it though. Due 5/15, still waiting on my surprise shower ??

I also have yet to wash any baby clothes but i bought some dreft today.. that counts for something right? Lol . Are you ladies washing the brand new clothes you recieved? I have them all hung up nicely and wondered if it's okay to just wear em on her like they are before washing them. & see if she reacts to them in any way

Lol I've got 8 days til I'm induced. I'm half way done with clothes and I got the carseat installed. It was hard to decide where to put it. I know the middle is the safest but it wasn't quite working out. And I got one of those headrest mirrors and I couldn't see the "baby" while the car seat was in the middle. I'll try again when my husband comes home tomorrow. Maybe he can figure it out. Where does everyone else out their first car seat??

My MIL washed all the baby clothes but I didn't even think about the car seat or swing covers. Is everyone going to wash them?

I only washed clothes and blankets, i just got the travel system and the crib is not even assembled! This is baby #3 and i just have no ENERGY to do anything!!!

I have about 4 weeks left and hubby and I are going to start putting things together this weekend, then I will start the laundry. This is my second and I am procrastinating so badly. I think everything was ready by now with my first.
