Due with a Boy question Is anyone else having a boy in May or has a boy before and craved sweets?

I have a 5 year old boy and a boy on the way and haven't had cravings at all with either ;/

I'm dying for some carrot cake but have been holding myself back. I've craved lots of sweets and this baby is all boy (we've had chromosome testing and 3 VERY clear ultrasounds).

I'm having a BOY and I cannot eat sweets. I'm turned off by it. I avoid most juices except OJ and put very little sugar in my tea. This boy is just not interested in sweet stuff. Due May 6

My best friend craved sweets with each of her two sons. I have two girls and didn't crave sweets with either pregnancy.

With my son at the end I craved snickers like made but with my daughter I wanted sour sweets at the beginning

I'm having a boy and in the beginning I would crave salads, fruit, and combos. Now I'm craving more sweets. Rice crispy treats oh yeah....

There is no medical evidence you crave one thing over another due to baby's gender- all folklore. I have a huge sweet tooth and I'm having a boy.

I've been craving sweets like crazy this hole pregnancy and I'm having a boy. It has been confirmed about 4 times already :) I wouldn't put any mind to I what others say, We all crave our one specific carving whether it's a boy or girl.

I used to crazy spicy things at first (when I didn't have heart burn) but now its like hunny buns & cookies & peanut butter & pancakes like everyday !! & I'm having a boy

Envy.... I wouldn't even let it get to me. I had this one girl tell me not to name my son the name im naming him because it doesn't "go together " then told me I shouldn't plan a trip to the beach because I'm to big ? if I could slap her I would have. & I love Dairy Queen ???

I think everything was just starting to get to me and I felt almost attacked with my friends words. And that friend has two children of her own. I couldn't believe the nerve she had to tell me those things. So rude!

I obviously know they're myths but since I'm a ftm it helps to get some insight from this group. Just to make sure you're aren't the only one. Something about just makes me feel better :)

No worries!! I crave sweets like crazy and I'm having a boy. It's 100% a boy! Cravings have nothing to do with the gender of your baby, just an old wives tale. Hope this calms your nerves!

The nurses at my doctors appointments do the same thing to me about my son's heart rate! Because he's always got a higher heart rate they're like "hmm his heart rate is a little high for a boy, are you sure it's a boy?" And I'm like oh my god yessss I'm positive lol I crave sweets too. The chocolate I've consumed while pregnant with him is insane! And I had horrible morning sickness, all symptoms point to girl but it's definitely a boy in there! (:

I'm having a boy (confirmed via blood test), and I have a huge sweet tooth when I normally do not. My friend who is having a girl hates sweets! You never know- that's an old wives tale, I wouldn't buy into it.

I'm not an idiot and I thought I clearly stated how I'm just not really in the right mind frame right now. With that being said I'm really gullible but I can't help but feel like some people are being mean when I was just asking to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

If someone has a question and clearly explains why they feel like that, they shouldn't be put down because they asked a "dumb" question.

I hate sweet and I'm having a girl!!! What do tht even mean... I read it's all n ur brain u either want salty or sweet stuff. I want salty n they say tht crave is for a boy but I'm for sure having a lil girl!!! Just because u have a sweet tooth does not change that u r having a boy!

Your cravings have nothing to do with the sex of your child. I'm having a boy and love sweets right now. I also craved sweets my last two pregnancies and one was a Girl the other a boy.

I'm due with a boy in May and I am craving sweets like it's going out of style! At each ultrasound they've said boy! It's just a myth about what you crave I'm also craving spicy things! Like jalapeños and ice cream sound great together lol!

With my 3rd boy all I wanted was sweets, sweets and more sweets. It's a myth! You crave what you crave. Nothing that you crave points to boy or girl! We have 3 girls and with 2 of them I craved hot wings and pizza. I wasn't a big fan of sweets.

She made me feel like I was some kind of alien. She even mentioned i'm carrying high and touched my belly and said, oh yeah! Like really? Wtf is wrong with people?!

I'm usually not like this which is why after multiple ultrasounds I put the doubt to rest. But now I'm just soooo emotional and sleep deprived. Yesterday was my grandmothers birthday who passed away 4 years ago on the 21st. And she was basically my mother so it's a really tough month for me. Plus, losing my friend and her trying to start drama with me after I just asked her to leave me alone. I can't believe the way some people will treat a pregnant woman. I'd never think to hurt a pregnant woman's feelings the way people have been hurting me. Unbelievable. I've always tip toed around all the pregnant women I know.

Girl people have told me the same , things like what if you give birth and he turns out to be a girl instead . And I've had like 3 ultrasounds , one was a 4d one and I was 14 weeks tho and it looked like a penis clearly , I have pics of it and then i had one at 21 weeks and I have the pic of that one at home as well and it looks like balls and penis . Lol and then i had one at 25 weeks ! I just stopped thinking about it cause I'm pretty positive I know he's a boy . And I crave sweets alot and salty . But alot of sweet stuff . I'm pretty positive it's a boy .

My family has said the same. I crave sweets non stop and I have all of the other symptoms still that "indicate" a girl. But without a doubt this baby is a little boy. I would not let them worry you. Those old wives tales are way off most of the time.
