HELP!!!
Ok.. So I had Laparoscopy Surgery January 23rd! I literally just lifted up my shirt and had the most horrible smell coming from my navel! Omg, the smell is horrific! Does anyone think it can be an infection? I can tell it had also been bleeding a little. Doesn't hurt or anything but I'm still worried. My OB who done it office isn't open today. Should I go to the emergency room or wait until Tuesday? Ughhh.. Freaking out a little. Like it stinks so bad I can smell it just by sitting with my shirt lifted! ???

We tell our patients if you have green/yellow foul smelling discharge to call the office or temp greater than 100.2. If you wait until Tuesday and you have an infection you can make yourself really sick. I'm sure the office has an on call nurse/physician. They may be able to call in an antibiotic or have you go to the ER. Don't wait.
Thank you, ladies! No fever, no redness, it was just bleeding and had a foul smell. I washed it with soap and water and it doesn't smell anymore. You ladies are wonderful. Thank you so much! ?
