Vehicle for two car seats?

Mamas of multiple children- which cars/SUVs are you driving to fit in multiple car seats? Currently looking into the Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tuscan, or the Honda CRV. Hell bent on no mini van, huge vehicles stress me out!! We just got a diono rainier and plan on also having a britax frontier in the future in it (too). (God willing for a 2nd babe).

My Chevy equinox worked out well for 2 car seats but not good for 3. We had to upgrade to a van.

I have a Ford Explorer and absolutely love it. I wouldn't mind something bigger tho just because I'm used to driving big trucks

I drive a Nissan Armada but sounds too big for you. My rental for the last month is a Nissan Altima and I have actually been enjoying it. I have a rearfacing britax b-agile and a forward facing britax advocate in it now and fits good.

I love my Honda Pilot they really aren't as big as people make them seem because it has third row seat my kids all three fit perfectly in one row and if I have extra bodies they aren't cramped either honestly the hubby me my brother and sister in law the 3 kids all went to the Indy zoo his brother and sister are not small either and they sat comfortably next to the evenflo car seat I have while the 2 older girls say in the back no complaints we even use it for his job transferring furniture from one store to his store as he's the general manager at American freight here and we don't even have to move the second row because the third folds down I love it oh and both my older girls are in boosters

I have a 13 rogue, and fit a Britax pioneer seat, and a Britax advocate 70 G3 with a small space between them both to fit an older child not in a car seat there. Had an explorer with a 3rd row before when I babysat a few extra toddlers and had three Britax convertible seats in it.

We just have one baby (for now) and a big dog. We just got a Yukon xl and there's soooo much room. We were looking at an expedition too but went with Yukon. I could seriously fit like 6 car seats in that thing, I love it!

@nut we have a crv aswell are you having to scoot your front seats up to fit the car seats?

We've had 2 car seats in my CRV since LO was born and they fit just fine. 3 probably wouldn't and having to stick an extra person back there is a tight squeeze but it can be done!

@toughlove we are looking at the Ford Explorer as well too! that or the edge but my husband doesn't like the "cop car"

Havnt looked into the GMC Arcadia might have to look into that one!

We are looking at many , I would like to have a fourth so need a third row of seating. So far our top contenders are the GMC Acadia , Ford Explorer and the Honda pilot.

It's a huge purchase and I'm stalking on it bc I'm partial to my Liberty bc it's something I bought and paid for and not my husband (before we got married) and I don't wanna let it go but it's old and doesn't fit our family anymore ?

Have you looked into a Santa Fe? More room. But if you plan on having more children I would look into a mini van. I was hell bent against it until we needed something larger and test drove them. We ended up going with the Dodge Grand Caravan and it drives just like their SUVs. I love it.

I think two fit fine in anything. I have a Jeep Liberty with 2 car seats. Our third is no longer in a car seat and he does have to squish between his brothers (I'm looking for a bigger car) but we had no trouble till our third!

I have 4 kids so this might not apply, but we wanted a Toyota Highlander but it felt so cramped still. We ended up getting a Toyota Sienna when we were having our 3rd and I've absolutely loved it. No regrets whatsoever. It feels and drives like a Camry but has plenty of room! Love it.

People are mini van haters until they drive a Sienna I swear!

I would say you can fit two car seats in mostly any vehicle. My husband has a two door bmw and we can fit two in the back of it. I have a Honda Pilot and fit three across in it. I am also scared to drive big vehicles and always drive cars until I had my third in December, but find the pilot super easy to drive.
