Diastasis recti and hernia/help!!!

So my belly is still hard and funky looking rather than soft and flabby. Saw the doc due to it. I have a hernia and diastasis recti. Pretty much Sawyer tore apart my abs when pregnant with him and they cannot be fixed without surgery. Dr. said I need to get a belly band ASAP to prevent it from getting worse and no heavy lifting or bending over.

Yup I have a belly bandit and have been wearing it and my cousin told me there's athletic tape you can get when you need support that's safe??

I agree with the above but I think you should get a belly band to support it in the meantime and wear one during pregnancy too. (Maybe a waist trainer now and a belly band during pregnancy)

I was told to have the surgery after having all my children by my doctor.

Yep after! I developed it bc of big babies but I still haven't had surgery

Surgery AFTER u are done with kids it will always stretch back and hernia will grow while pregnant u can't prevent it. Pregnant with #2 15 weeks. I have both as well. 4 finger ds.

My little love will be two months tomorrow and I still look 6months pregnant with Diastasis Recti and Umbilical Hernia smh dreading the special exercises I have to do because regular crunches will further separate my muscles smh I have a long road ahead of me 😢😭😭😭😭

My son just can’t win. Anyone’s little get a hernia in their balls ? My son was crying when I washed him down there . Took him out and it’s so swollen. Like so swollen. Only one though. I think it might be a hernia . Waiting for the pediatrician to call me back now 😭😭
