Need to dry up fast- baby on strike

So after battling mastitis, my baby sucking out a huge chunk of dried milk and ripping apart my nipple and overcoming yeast, I decided to wean but every day was freaking out about getting mastitis again... Now my son is on a nursing strike and I'm freaking out. Looks like I'll have to either pump or go cold turkey and I am petrified... Any advice?

Ctega- I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you went through. Thanks for the tip about the cabbage leaves- I've been doing it for the last week and a half!

Lil-lass- I use to pump but I'd still get clogs cuz it's not as effective as baby sucking ?

Personally I would pump & give lo breastmilk as long as possible. I'm sorry it's been rough for you! Good luck!
