Tmi- Are Sitz baths with Epsom salts ok?

TMI! Struggling with constipation and pushing too hard. Pharmacist said I can use sitz baths with Epsom salts after bowl movements to help promote healing and cleaning to prevent infection. Does anyone know if this is safe? I'm really worried about the baby but if I get an infection or a uti due to constipation, it puts baby in danger too.

Yes it's ok I used baths with Epsom salts in my other pregnancies!

My Epsom salt bath is turning into a breastmilk bath. My 1 boob is leaking SO bad out of my old piercing holes holy moly!!!

Mommies that tore during birth, did you sit in shallow, warm, Epsom salt baths? Did it help?
