Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m a first time mom and my son is almost 2 weeks and has been super cranky, I’ll feed him change his diaper and he’s just start crying and be super fussy. And then once he’s almost asleep I’ll put him in his crib and he’ll just start crying. Help!

Good suggestion about the gas, you may need to burp him more too. May just be getting used to digesting and latching. Too much air getting in. Does he fart. Google the rubbing techniques and move his legs to chest. And at 2 weeks I’d let my guy sleep on me or put him in rocker when he was ready to go down. Movement, Swaddling, white noise? At that age they just need to hear your heartbeat and feel you. Maybe water would be calming?? GL

My daughter was like that when she came home from the hospital, has drops work but she got hiccups after every feeding and seemed really uncomfortable all the time and almost like she would choke sometimes and she ended up having silent reflux, look it up and check out the symptoms

Same with my LO ! I thought it was the gas bothering her for weeks and tried everything from gripe water to gas drops to tummy rubs and warm baths...i took her to the ER today and she has gastroesophageal reflux and She was prescribed ranitidine (zantac). Shes also colic.

Yes could be. He is probably getting air while feeding. My son is the same. Burp him more often and try gas drops. You'll see a difference and they are safe for newborns.

@mommyinwonderland, He gets hiccups a lot, almost every feeding could this mean he’s gassy?

Hmm just fed my baby 4oz and he kept crying and sucking in his thumb after. So I fixed him two more ounces. Guess he is ready to start getting more 🤷🏻‍♀️

So this is what happens when you have a American pit and American bulldog mix and your son is playing with him and just bites him.. Almost bit a hole in his ear! My poor baby has done cried himself asleep💔😞

Lately my son has been HORRIBLE at nap time . He’s been on a set napping schedule since June . Lately it takes me over an hour to get him down. And that’s with 30+ mins of screaming literally blooding murder and me having to hold him. He’s tired when I start putting him down. But he’s like refusing . He just wants to play, watch his show , be w his dad etc . Any tips for this ? Anyone go through this ?

whereswaldo I would do quiet time an hour leading up to nap. Quiet books, quiet toys. No tv,
blueismycolor Can you put him down about 15-20 min earlier? He may be overtired and that always makes
