they are very dirty. I'll get a rabbit or turtle instead. My sister have a Guinea pig and rabbit and it would eat and bother the rabbit all the time

I have four and they are wonderful pets ! I have three girls and one boy . They are really good with my nephew who's five .

I have one. She's kinda skittish though.

Hate them. They're like newborns except replace sleep with squeal. Eat, squeal, and poop. Oh and they bite or nibble.

I love them! I've had a few growing up and one right before I had ds1. They are very lovable pets. If I didn't have 2 big ole dogs already I would buy my boys one.

I had one as a kid and loved it. We tamed him really well. Unfortunately I'm VERY allergic to them now!

I absolute hated them. We had two and they stayed up all hours of day and night squealing. No matter is they were fed, watered, or held.

It went from cute to annoying really fast.

We had rats at the same time and they are amazing pets.

They will bite if they are hurt or uncomfortable. They are very social and like to be handled but will let you know when they are done. They do poop a lot lol. Make sure to research the right vegetables and cages to keep them in. Their diet is very important, they need fresh veggies, pellets and hay everyday. Never use a hamster ball or wheel for guinea pigs, their backs can break with it. I have had 5 and currently have one. They are one if my favorite pets but they take a bit of work to keep in proper health. Hey can be great pets for kids, just make sure to supervise all their time with them. They are very sweet and love to cuddle, they will snuggle up on your lap. I highly recommend guinea pigs, just make sure to do your research I didn't do it for y first piggy and he ended up dying of an upper respiratory infection at less than a year old.

when you let them run around the house and such do they poop everywhere?? lol.

Cute Animals. And nice. But once my sister accidently fed it the wrong part of lettuce and it died. Or cabbage. Idk what one it is.

We have one! We absolutely love him. Amazing pet. My 3 year old DD is scared of him still, but we're working on that. He runs all around our house and loves to snuggle. Best pet hands down.
