losing weight
I know, I know there's been tons of posts like these.. but where do I start?! I don't have much to lose, maybe 10-15 lbs but I've been putting it off for so long just because I don't know where to start.
Do you have Xbox one?
They have Xbox fitness which has a free library of work out videos. It uses your connect and scores you as you follow the workouts. I'm competitive so I love it. I'm always trying to beat my score or the average scores that other people get. Plus they have a bunch of 10 minute videos so its easy to fit a few in here and there ?? df and I are in a competition on there. It's fun.
I went from 230lbs to 140lbs within 4-6 months. I turned vegetarian (which in turn cut out fast food) and walked 4+ miles a day.
Calorie counting is way too much effort for me, MyFitnessPal never worked either, I just go by eating less & making healthier choice, and add some form of exercise to my week. Whether that be a couple miles of walking or 2 hours at the gym. Find what works best for you and take it from there! ?
thank you so much! you all make it seem much easier than it really is. ? I'm determined to do this though, it's time. even though tamale season is upon us
Breakfast.. Chicken omelette, Turkey and eggs,
Lunch.. Turkey chilli which is a pack of lean Turkey mince, half a courgette, half a pepper, half an onion, all diced with some chilli and and half a tin of tinned tomatoes.. I cook this and it lasts me about 4 days, at lunch I have it with rice
Dinner.. Turkey chilli or chicken breast with stir fried veg and cashew nuts, fish with greens etc no rice or carbs as its evening..
Snacks.. Cooked chicken, cooked turkey, nuts, avocado, boiled egg
At least 2 litres of water every day
Exercise.. Jogging, circuits class, boot camp class, weights
Personally, I find that keeping track of my diet does far more for weight loss for me than adding an exercise routine. It also is much less time consuming and easier for me to stick to. I use the MyFitnessPal app for calorie counting, and I've found that it really helps to curb my snacking.
Of course, what really matters is to find a healthy method that works for you, but that's my 2 cents.
ETA - any additional exercise, as long as you don't compensate by eating more, should result in weight loss. It's just that the less intense the exercise is, the longer it will take to lose a set amount of weight.
ETA 2- I believe that the healthiest rate of weight loss is about 1-2 pounds per week. Much more than that isn't healthy, isn't sustainable, and you're more likely to gain the weight back before too long.
but I love salt ? Lol no but I wish I had the money for a gym membership. even money for weights & all that so I could work out at home but I don't. I guess if have to start out walking. how long & how often would I need to walk for it to be effective?
& I do know my blood type. I didn't know that had anything to do with losing weight though, isn't it all the same?

Oh my word....I don't even know where to START with this one!
Lately I’ve been wanting to lose weight. I just don’t know where to start?
Any ideas?
Should I let my x know when labor starts
You can read about it.. There's a lot of info on it. I've done multiple types of diets and the one it suggested for me to do was the most beneficial and worked the best. When I was working out my Y trainer recommended looking it up and reading on it. I asked the same thing and she said your blood type determines everything in your body.
