yellow ? I just cut open a watermelon and it's yellow! like the whole thing. I've never seen this before what's going on…

I've seen pictures my friends have posted on Facebook and wanted to try one but haven't been lucky enough I know they're really popular in some parts of Mexico

I feel like yellow watermelon should be advertised as such in the store. It probably freaks out so many people

It's just a different kind of watermelon. It's probably better than the regular variety since they aren't usually mass farmed

I've never seen a yellow watermelon. However I've had a bad watermelon. If it isn't crumbling apart just from cutting it, it's probably fine.

Just like there are many different kinds of apples, there are tons of types of watermelons. There are yellow, orange, light pink, and even white watermelons (besides the "traditional" red). They are all heirloom varieties though, and most watermelon farms stick to the few varieties that handle mega-farm setting agriculture.
