Help! What should I do with my toddlers room?? We're getting his toddler bed soon and getting rid of the crib. Should I just put the bed where his crib is and leave it? Or completely rearrange the room? I'd like to rearrange but I don't know where to put everything

I would put the new bed where the crib used to be so its not like holy crap everything is different, paint, get decals something! Let ur child pick them out, take out the tv and have a bunch of toys

I read somewhere you shouldn't put a tv/toys in a childs room. I don't remember exactly the reason but I think it has to do with seperating sleep and play time.
I love those wall decals, you can get whatever character you like and they come off easily without destroying the wall paint so you can change as baby's likes change.
Good move getting rid of the tv. There's so many studies showing the bad effect it has on sleep, regardless of the person's age.
You'll have a lot of room once you move put the crib and the changing table! I'd paint, do a cute border at chair rail height, find a cute throw rug, and a big chair to sit and read or snuggle in.
Bed on the wall to the left. Open up the window space by putting the dresser on the wall to the right. Bright colored curtains (shorter ones) with cars or trucks or baseball ;) something more youthful. It will change the room without painting.
And he does have a toy box it's just hiding under the big stuffed animals and larger toys that don't fit in the box lol
I didn't even think about Pinterest! I want to get rid of the changing table too just didn't know what to do with everything on it so thank you!
I'm also getting rid of the TV. It's only in there because we have all his vhs player and tapes in there but I'm going to put them away until he's older.
And his room gets kind of hot in the summer so I think putting his bed too close to the window might make him too hot. I'll try it that way though I usually keep his bed on the side of the room it's at now
It looks very plain, like it needs color and decorations.
Pinterest has some awesome ideas that would help, I would get the diapers out of the bag and get decorative bins for them and store the rest in the closet, also maybe get a toy box?
If you are crafty paint the dresser and me personally I wouldn't put a TV where the bed is, it causes bad habits.
