Csection scar I'm almost 2 years pp and my scar still bugs me!

I'm 19 months pp and it itches sometimes when hair starts to grow lol but I do once in a while get small cramping pain there. My scar isn't even flush with my skin. I can still feel the scar when I run my hand over it :(

Mine does it too. Also it hurts pretty bad when I try to work out. Mine also itches occasionally. Ds will be 3 in September.

That's the build up of scar tissue underneath.

I wish more Drs & nurses would tell us about scar tissue & how to reduce it.

Use things like olive oil, mederma etc., and with gentle pressure rub the scar itself and around it about 2 inches all around the scar, counterclockwise. Do this at least twice a day. Press down as much as you can safely and without too much pain can stand it, add more pressure every week, do that for a few months. You will notice it getting a little softer.

I had one 3 years ago and it never bothered me. Had my 2nd 10 weeks and so far the same.

Mines 3 years old and still bugs me all the time. I hate that I had a csection. I get so emotional when it bugs me ?

Mine is 16 months pp n mine itches on n off. I find that putting lotion on it helps with the itching.

Mine doesn't itch, it's still a bit tender. I'm only 4 months pp though.

It can be scar tissue still forming, I would bring it up to the doctor for sure

I've had 2 c-sections (#1 was 13 years ago and #2 was 3 years ago) and have experienced itching on and off every now and then and have had a little pain when I would sometimes become bloated on my period. It felt more like a sharp stretching pain.

I just had my 3rd c-section and mine never bother me besides always feeling numb in that area.
