Baby food / shots
My little babe is a little over 4 months. The dr gave us the okay to start baby food yesterday and he also got his shots. He had some bananas and loved it! He cried when I would take the spoon away ? he was so happy. But later on he became super fussy for a couple hours. Do you guys think it was the shots or the baby food? Shots can make a fussy baby, right? He didn't have a lot of the baby food. A couple bites just to try. But I know it's something he's not used to so I guess that could have been it too. I'm thinking about just trying the baby food again tomorrow just a little bit to see if it happens again or not.

@shaina yeah I have no idea. I probably shouldn't have started on the day he got shots cause now I don't know what made him act like that but I wasn't thinking. He definitely loved it so I hope it wasn't the food. I guess I'll have to test it out again in a few days.
Maybe a combo. But more than likely it was the shots. My son did great with baby food (no diarrhea, constipation or any more gas than the norm) but I'm holding off until he starts eating like he's supposed to at daycare. They can't get him to finish bottles but he will if he's at home and had no problem before.
@patryc yeah he seemed like his stomach hurt because he kept pushing up with his legs and acting in pain so I'm thinking it might have been the food. He's been super fussy today too. I wanna try again in a few days to see how he reacts but I'm nervous lol I don't wanna go thru this again.
Could be both.
I stoped her baby food completely - as much as she was ready her tummy and intestines were not. She had horrible belly ache. Would scream when pooping. And once we had a night where she screamed for 3 hrs straight I couldn’t justify her food anymore. Within two days she went back to normal.
Observe your babe. For us the first sign was a bit of diaper rash that developed into a lot of rash!
Wait a few more weeks a try food again if you wish. He is still young and doesn't need the food, so why risk it making him uncomfortable?
