I live in Florida and my ac has been out since Sunday. They came out and had to order a part and came with the part yesterday and go figure it wasn't the right one. So now I have to wait till God knows when. It's already almost 80 in my house and it's not even 1 yet. I am on the verge of just busting out crying. I feel so sick my head hurts and I can't even breathe. My SO had to use my car today for work so I can't even leave. I also have 3 dogs so I can't stay at a hotel. I'm so frustrated ??

Girl , i would leave those dogs in the house or where ever stay in a hotel and come back in the morning to feed them and let them out

Go somewhere cheap like Motel 6 and you can take the dogs.

Yeah I was thinking about going somewhere just for the night. But 2 are puppies so I have to leave them in the cage and their part husky so they get really hot and I feel bad leaving them for so long. I went out to dinner last night and in that little time they were already whining like crazy. It sucks really bad cause it's been out for a week now and who knows when it's gonna be fixed now and each day is just getting hotter. I've had the worst headaches cause of it too ugh ??

There are places that allow dogs. Your best bet is to get a motel with the doors on the outside and just bring them in. That's what I've done before just tell them about 1 dog.

I had this happen when I was 37 weeks pregnant in the middle of summer. Talk about miserable! Is there anyone you know that would let you borrow a window unit? That's what we did, kind of blocked off the other rooms and kept to one room until it was fixed.

Yeah I need to try to find someone that has one. I was thinking about buying one and returning it when the ac got fixed but idk if they let you return them lol. When I blow my nose it's full of blood, I'm guessing from the heat. It's 83 in here right now. So miserable. Pray for me y'all lol

I live in Texas and ours broke last summer. We bought 2 window units. One for our room, our sons and got a giant mobile one for the living room. We were definitely able to return them once our ac was fixed.

Really? I think that's what I need to do then. I just didn't yet cause I wanted to make sure. I don't have the money to keep one but holy s*** is this miserable.
