I got the harmony test done after I was 20 weeks because they found soft markers of Down syndrome at the anatomy scan (two cyst on his brain and a shadow on his heart). The doctor's weren't concerned but wanted me to take the harmony test just to lay to rest any stress or worry. The test came back negative.

Mine was accurate and I did it at 10 weeks which is the earliest they reccomend. Also you will get the dna info regardless becasue thats the actual reason for the test. Gender is just a bonus.

Yeah basically at 20 weeks you could find out with the anatomy scan not the blood test. I found out around 12 weeks. And I also thought you weren't supposed to take the blood test past a certain amount of weeks or results weren't as accurate. Weird!

Hi ladies! I'm 17wks 3 days I had that test done 10 days ago. Was supposed to get results today but they called me to go in to get more blood drawn. They didn't find enough baby's blood/DNA. So I had to get get more taken out. Which I don't understand what happened bc I'm almost 20 weeks. They do this at 10 weeks and up a lot of women find out super early. She said this is rare it never happens. So it's just weird to me :/ they weren't able to get anything from the blood expect that the cystic fibrosis gene is negative. So that's good! But I'm almost 20 weeks you would think this would happen at a early stage. :/ now I have to wait another 10 days ??

I think it's rare for them to be inconclusive too! I just keep reading to much on the internet lol I got my test done Friday so hopefully I get results this Friday or atleast before Christmas!!

I drew my blood around 10/11 weeks and got my results within five business days. I think it's rare to have the results be inconclusive?

Having the dr. Call back and leave it on your voicemail is a great idea!!! I'm expecting the call anyway and I'm so doing that!!!!

It took me a week to get the results! It's a girl! My doctor called me and said we have a very low risk for genetic disorders and then she asked if I was ready to hear the sex. I told her no, can you please call me and leave it on my voicemail so me and my husband can listen together, so she did. I wouldn't worry!

I also read some stuff about if the gender comes back inconclusive it can mean that the baby has boy and girl parts and can be a gender disorder?? But I think in most cases coming back inconclusive just means there wasn't enough fetal dna drawn and that it was to early like in your case. Hopefully I get my results soon!!!

I've just read a few things about people saying the gender part isn't accurate!!! But I think that only happens in rare cases?

Okay! I was just a day short of 13 weeks so hopefully it works lol I need to stop reading things online cause it just freaks me out lol

First time I was 11 weeks and second time I was 13 and a few days. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong just that they didn't want to make a decision with very little information. I also had my nuchal done at 13 weeks and that was perfect so I didn't worry so much on the results for the blood test. Just curiosity of the gender drove me crazy ?

@aysingh that's very true! How far along were you when you got it done? I was 12 weeks 6 days so about 13 weeks.

Mine came back inconclusive. They just redrew blood and I had to wait again. I had the test done early and the doctor said at that time there might have not been enough of the baby's DNA in my blood. One week can make such a difference since the baby is growing so fast. I would rather it be inconclusive and have then redo the test than get inaccurate results. Waiting another 7 days sucks though =\
