4 weeks postpartum c section incision still open
Anyone else have a csection still open. Im starting to have no hope. I have 3 open incisions. Ive been putting gauze in everyday and biacitracin because possible infection. So i took oral antibiotic for 8 days 4 times a day. Plus ointment. Now doc wants me to take another. :/ i just want to shower lije a normal human being. Im loosing hope at 6 weeks that i still will be open.
i hope i have my baby this week...or in a couple of years...if he wants to come out...it's whatever he wants 😓
Wanted to share with my baby bump ladies !!! This was my ultrasound pictures at 7 weeks 4 days !! I'm 8 weeks 1 day today !! Have to turn pictures upside down to see baby.. I'm in love with my little one !!!! Due date january 26th, 2019.
I found out I was pregnant on Friday and started bleeding on Monday. I went to the hospital, and they said they could not tell if I was having a miscarriage because im still early 4 weeks and 1 day. They told me to go back in 3 to 4 days to see if my HCG levels are going up or down. I took this pregnancy test this morning while im still bleeding, and it came out positive. Could it be possible that im still pregnant, or will it stay positive for a while if I am having a miscarriage?

5w pp and still open. I had dressing 1st day then took it out to shower never put it back had to get stitched back up at 3w pp. I do to much tho. It's starting to heal tho

Hmm i showered 24 hours after. No dressing. I feel like if it was covered more and not so wet i would have had a better chance

It may depend on how your doctor stitched you back up. I'm 3 weeks pp and it's all healed. Doctor did in skin dissolvable sutures. I kept the same dressing in for a week pp as per the doctor. And after I removed the dressing and showered I would let it air dry after patting dry after a shower

Sooo luckyy! This is my second and first time recovery on incision was def better. Oo man 8 weeks? If its barely scabbing were u not able to exercise at 6 weeks?

Yes I’m 8 weeks postpartum and it’s barely scabbed over I keep mine dry I put nothing on it

It needs to stay dry do not put on the antibiotic unless it is infected the gods may help to absorb any of the moisture also do not be lifting anything heavier than your baby mine was completely closed after 2 weeks that's what the doctor said on my check up also this is my second section
