sore nipples Any ideas for sore nipples? I have the ointment bamboobies. And still getting scab like on my boob…

Jack Newmans all purpose nipple ointment has completely worked for me! I had to get a prescription for it but it is seriously amazing.

I'm sitting here topless letting my boobies dry out. I did it last night too and I barely had any pain when I nursed her just a few min ago. I don't know if I'm on to something or not but I sure hope it gets better fast!! Oh and making sure the baby latches right is super important! (Making sure her lips flare out like a big sucker fish makes nursing waaaaay less painful!)

Is it the nipple shield?

They also make these silicone pads you can put on and they really help. Medela makes them, and a couple other brands too. They're reusable, and if you keep them in the refrigerator they're really soothing. Hang in there!

Also see a lactation specialist they nught be able to help with latch. With my little one holding the boob sandwiched while feeding, he maintains a good latch no pain like when i dont

You're breast milk! Spread some across your nipples when you're done breastfeeding and let them air dry. Also soaking in a warm bath feels good.
