anyone dealing with low blood sugar

Im 36 weeks and im pretty sure my low blood sugar is starting to act up. Been naucious for a couple days. Than todayhad 2 low readings after last one had snack and apparently wasnt quick enough. Shaking like crazy heart was speeding up. Naucious and headache all the symptoms was horiable!!! Anyone else dealing with this. If so what do u do?

Yea i was always told to eat protein with upping the sugar. I tend to do protein bar or cranberry almond peanut bar. But even after that today was still shaky. Im glad to hear your not having to deal with it now. Thank you!

I haven't dealt with this during pregnancy but I have the rest of my life.

Juice is good if you feel it starting to go. Otherwise you need to find something with sugar (simple is better than carbs) to bring it up quick, and protein to help sustain it for awhile. I used to keep peanut butter m&ms in my locker in high school for the occasion. But a PB&J would work too.

Be careful to wait 5-10 minutes after eating to see if your blood sugar reacts to it, or you can end up over eating on the bad stuff. Once you feel your blood sugar stabilize (you'll start to feel better) it's important to eat a balanced meal asap to keep it level.
