He's on 3 10mls a day for 7 days. I thought they would have kicked in by now :( he's got moving up day tomorrow so really wanted him to meet his teacher but doesn't look like he's going to. Glad ami is ok tho xxx

Oh no bless him ?ami is fine , she was at school today like nothing was wrong! The dr did put her on a double does of anti biotics 4times a day though & for 10 days xxx

Ami has tonsillitis too ?she's actually peeked up a bit today though, temp is still pretty high they did say that if it didn't stabilise within 2 doses of anti biotics she'd have to be admitted as it's so high but fingers crossed they'll work ?hope Rhys is ok Hun xx

I have always suffered with tonsillitis growing up even now and it's actual horrid. So when Sophia gets it I feel so bad for her cause it's bad enough for an adult never mind a kid. Hopefully once the medicine kicks in he will feel better quickly. My doctors refuse to put me forward for it but I'm gonna ask for a referral and considering going through my health care at work as when I enquiries they can have it done within a few days of phoning and that's with the consultation too. It's just the recovery time with a 3 year old that puts me off. X

My lb school has 13 children off last week out of 29 and they all had tonsillitis. The teachers said it's really going round.

Don't worry about meds Hun asking as they get her temp down. They gave me the meds for Rhys. Maybe there give you something xx

Only thing is our local hospital dont have a pharmacy so they won't be able to give us any medication tonight anyway as no pharmacy is open either ?

Aww bless him ?Amis still not right , her temp was 40.9 about 20 mins ago she just keeps saying her head hurts so I don't suppose it's worth taking her anywhere ?horrible seeing them poorly isn't it? Xx

Checked his temp at 6 and it was 39.4! Gave him more meds then checked again at 6:30 and it's 39.6 what shall I do? X

Yeah I agree I'd prob leave him a while it's not overly high especially in a child if his age. Hope he's ok ?our eldest has come out of school today & is not well her temps upto 39 now , she hates medicine too ?I'm sure it's just viral tho she's saying her head hurts so she's in bed already bless her xxx

I'd wait until you can give him another dose then if it's still not come down I would get him checked over because usually nurophen works straight away for mine and it's defiantly worked by the second dose! Hope he's okay xx

Calpol doesn't work for him that's why I brought nurophen xx

Can he have some calpol because paracetamol is better for temps
