I know how you feel I was in the same position 13yrs ago, I had a Daughter when we met and we had a son together and that was it he said no more but I always felt like I needed 1 more baby. Anyway skip forward 9yrs and I had a coil go missing and got pregnant before I realised. It took me a week to tell him as I was convinced he'd want me to have an abortion, and personally that's not something I could do, but he surprised me and was fine about it. I thought I'd feel done after I had baby but nope I still felt like I needed another baby so managed to talk him into another, I'm so done now so much so I'm too scared to have sex even though he's now had the snip ? some days I wish for the easy days of two kids ? you never know what the future holds and you could be back on here in a few years time showing off your new baby and wishing for the easy days of two kids ?

I know this feeling is going to come to me. I'm currently having my third and hubby has said no more. Physically he's right but mentally I could keep going and going the feeling knowing this would be the last one and not getting those kicks etc anymore.

It's a hard thing to deal with

I think it's natural to feel like you do. Is it because he's scared of all you went through last time? Watching your precious baby go through major surgery, not knowing if they will make it etc. Although the odds were clearly in her favour there must have been a time he was scared.

Doesn't help you though. No idea how to get through what you're feeling, I know there definitely no more for me and will have to deal with it afterwards. I'm from a big family and have five so think it's something in my genes xx

My oh feels like this we have three but I would like just one more but he's so adimant and heart set on no more. Although I can see where he's coming from wud need bigger house bigger car and also it's money too as my oh is the only earner. But i also know this feeling never goes away and once Harri is slightly older it will get worse

I know exactly how you mean. My OH has 5 with his ex. And we have one together. He said after our son was born that 6 is more than enough for him and that he doesn't want anymore. But that thought of knowing I'll never experience pregnancy and labour again is heart breaking. I want another 1-2... I'm hoping that in a year or two he might change his mind. He's 35 now so also says he feels he's getting to old to have anymore x

Can't imagine how that feels, my oh is happy for me to keep going for the football team, like I just read from pp though, maybe he's just scared with what happened last time? Hope he changes his mind if you really want more xx
