No I don't think so tbh not sure why I'm asking cos asking and hearing people's side effects makes me nervous and my anxiety worse but cos I'm an idiot I still ask and google! I'm on 50mg and taking half a day for 5 days then go to one a day I'm only on day 3 and last night I was so restless sleeping and was awake for 2 hours in the middle of the night. My anxiety isn't too bad ATM but I wanted to have something that was working ready for my wedding as I know my anxiety will be bad I already thinking about it and worrying x

The sleepless nights will stop within two weeks. It really kicked in after about 10 days for me and helped my anxiety xx

I was on 100mg when I had depression but never had any side effects. You're meant to give them 4 weeks though to settle if you do have any side effects xx

I was on them but stopped them since falling pregnant. Mine where 100mg. Doctors told me they take months to kick in and need to be taken continuously. I've been on them years now (not just sertraline, had citalopram first) xx

I've been on them for a while. I had terrible side affects from citanopram so moved on to these. I have them for ptsd and anxiety/depression. I feel more able to function, though I am on quite a high dose so get sleepy after taking them. My day to day anxiety has dropped since uping the dose and able to make small trips out with my husband (i went nearly 6 months without leaving the house). They are worth a try as everyone's different and if you do get side effects you have more options!

My partner is and they work great for him. I'm on citalopram. Ssri do make you feel funny for two weeks, just treat it like a virus or cold, rest and go easy on yourself. The side effects are a good indicator that they are working for you. X
