Contreceptive Changing from the pill to what!? Keep thinking about the coil but I'm scared ?

I had the implant for years best thing I had

Loved my mirena coil. Will be having another one back in after this baby.

I have the copper coil and it's working well for us it's nice not to have to worry about anything for a while x

I had the mirena and it was fab!! Hardly any periods! The implant was awful!!!

Id heard horror stories about the coil but have it a go and love it- less mood swings and nothing to remember!

Loved the copper coil, I'm on mini pill atm and hate it, I've git consultation with the doctor Friday about getting the coil back in x

I had a mirena and loved it but I lost mine and got pregnant before I noticed. So if you do get one just make sure you check it regularly unlike me ?

Fell pregnant with no.1 on pill, no.2 on injection, no.3 planed, no.4 Medina coil, then had implant which caused body to go into shock and was removed after haemorrhage (they also discovered my body attacks any hormones that are synthetic) and then went on to have no.5, I have to wait till I'm over 30 before we can look into a more permanent solution. My husband thinks the way my body handles hormones may also be the reason I have had 4 miscarriages too.and after our last miscarriage we are now ttc no.6 which will be our last as just turned 29 ? xx

I have the copper coil and love it. I was so scared of the thought of having it in (you hear the horror stories) I was told it's less painful if you've not had children before, which worried me more as I had the girls via section. When it was fitted I actually didn't feel anything and there wasn't any cramping afterwards (I know everyone is different) I'm glad I got it done. Don't let fear put you off. If you have children you can do anything! lol X
