It's not your house being unclean Hun it could be from someone at school or anything Hun I personally wouldn't send him to school tomorrow just get him to Drs to get medication and change his sheets make sure he's washing his hands constantly etc xx

Yeah deffo clean your House top to bottom bleach wash everywhere bedding towels everything really and your have to all have tablets to take cos odds are you guys all may have them ? horrible isn't it my nephew had them and I was paranoid that we have caught them..tonight to be sure I'd check his bum hole when he's asleep you might see them wiggle out cos that's where they lay the eggs outside x

I'm currently dealing with this!! Mylie wouldn't settle on Saturday night I thought she had an upset stomach she was fidgeting she kept trumping too so fetched her downstairs Dan thought she was gonna be sick but when I looked in her nappy she said she pooed I saw a worm wiggling near her bum hole I was mortified I screamed at Dan to look we took her emergency out of hours they gave her medicine and for everyone to take it and then again in two weeks time! I spent Sunday Monday bleaching the whole house everyone has separate towels bedding is washed everyday and every morning I put all kids in the bath and wash there bums as the eggs get laid at night which makes them itch and needs washing in a morning to get rid of them I have to keep this routine for 2weeks iv bought anti bac for there hands everyone is on ott hygiene routine I felt so ashamed but the doctor said its not down to been unclean they have came into contact with the eggs from school or toys or even some stranger touching them and it's highly contagious as it stands nobody else has them and I'm hoping it stays that way but it's gonna be hard with 4 kids! Just make sure u clean everything every day including toys remotes iv bought a dettol air spray that I saw on telly and spray my carpets remotes phones toys with it hope he is ok I no how unsettling it can be X

I used to get them as a kid from eating loads of sugar. You can get treatment and everybody in the house also needs treating and have to be extra clean with hand washing etc xx

You can get thread worm from biting nails and from hands being dirty and putting in mouth nothing to do with the cleanliness off yiur house. All you need to do is go too boots and get tablets treat everyone and done. He could had got it off friends at school too. Xx

Also you dont need to check his bumhole just get the tablets give it to him it kills them and they will come out in his poo. Make sure you wash towels and bedding etc xx

If you call work they may not let you in because of being in close contact with others xx

Probably most of his class have them, so you need to make school aware as probably came from there. They're more common than people think. They also come from pork not being 100% cooked - so like when you buy it out and about. Nothing to do with your house being dirty. Your little one is too small for the meds so need to keep an eye and ask GP for advice.

They're more common than people think.

Cutting all nails short, using a nail brush and wearing tight pants to bed helps as prevents them spreading. Don't forget the dose in two weeks as the meds don't kill eggs and they will hatch and be ready to lay around then xx

My work are a****** s and prob wouldn't give a s*** !! Gonna call the doctors at 8am and ask about Isabella and if she needs treating. Then calling work to say il be late as gonna take Rhys in to school late after I've been to the chemist and got the treatment so he can have it as soon as the chemist opens. Will also be calling the school and telling his teacher il be telling them to send letters out to inform everyone that it's going round. Also plan to wash everything possible starting the min I wake up!! He's asleep in pjs ATM should I go wake him and make him pants on underneath? I feel bad as he's prob had these a little while but as he had no symptoms he only told me yesterday but I didn't really know what he was saying! Then saw them today when he remembered about them again and got me to check when he went to the loo. Making me feel sick that they could have been there god knows how long!! He's not even bothered by it tho thank god! X

Nah I wouldn't worry shell cos you'll be cleaning his bed stuff and everything tomorrow anyways..id makesure his nails are short and he washes his hands regularly from now on as he's picked it up from school so could prevent him getting them again..we've probably all been there bellas not had them but I have when I was little just the once never again x

His nails are really short anyway cos he's a picker ? but il shower him first this and scrub his nails to be sure. Do we need to stay away from people and have people stay away from our house? X

Id deffo tell school so that all the other kids are treated as it sounds like he's picked up from someone else..I wouldn't say so to be honest cos once you clean and wipe down all the toys you should be ok to be fair cos that will kill the eggs which is how you catch it..just makesure you clean again and wipe everything down again in another 2weeks so that you kill any remaining eggs aswell x

My lg has had them twice in the space of 3 months! I just bought the tablets from the chemist the first time, they are orange flavour and chewable. Then i just stripped the bedding and washed that and all towels and increased her hand washing. Then it happened again so i think shes picked it up from preschool. Second time i took her to gp and they prescribed the medicine form of the tablets which was good because the tablets were £8 for 4! Agree with the previous comments about it being like nits...they pick them up but once treated its all ok! Just one of those things i think! When i googled it it said no need to keep them home from school etc xx

It could be picked up anywhere. There are people who don't wash their hands. I'd check with gp, as the treatment might vary

Got an appointment at the doctors at 9:40 thought would be easier to just get them seen together and then doc can give one for us and one for Isabella. Plus means I can go in late to work and get a bit of cleaning started! Litterally dunno where to start ??

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Do you really think the way you are raised

Do you really think the way you are raised Has no impact on when and how you decide to have sex? I read a comment on another thread that really rubbed me the wrong way. Something about how teens have sex and there's just no stopping it no matter how you raise them.
