Lamb I'm making lamb today in the slow cooker, I've only got one lamb stock cube, I've beef chicken…

We had lamb the other day and only had beef stock, think we used that X

Loads of lamb slow cook recipes I do from a cook book say to use chicken. Never lamb x

Well the veg ones went out of date in 2011 lol shows how long I haven't used them lol so I used a lamb one lamb gravy and one chicken one chucked in lol

I use chicken for most of mine :)

From a chefs point of view beef is very strong over powers the natural flavor of the lamb. if in doubt always use chicken as a base stock still has meat flavour enhances the lamb instead of taking away from it.hope I didn't go on too much

Just chucked some lamb potatoes and carrots in the slow cooker with stock and leave it to cook all day! I would normally have it all in a large Yorkshire pudding but sainsburys don't sell them! So little ones and mint sauce xx

Sorry to ask a question on your post, but I have just bought a slow cooker and I'm confused. If I wanted to cook lamb chops in it, what do it put in with it? All I can think of it water but I can't imagine that tasting nice at all. ?

I've no idea lol I'm rubbish I got the lamb thing off someone on here haha. I need more easy recipes too! But I'm not on fb and they have a good page on there apparently x
