Amber was the same so we did the tough love. First night it took her half an hour to settle herself and go to sleep, the next night it took 10 minutes and the following night 5 minutes. We did this a month ago now and since we did it she's slept through as well. Now she has her bottle has a cuddle, we then take her into her room awake and kay her down and she'll stand up while we walk out the door and then she'll lay down and go to sleep xx

What pillow? Xx

How about those pillows that are like nests? My cousin and friend swear by them? X

I could of wrote this myself. When Nancy wakes in the night, we have to bring her into our room otherwise she won't go back down xxx

Maybe wrap her up in a blanket then when u put her down u can unwrap her. It might be the cold sheet waking her up? If only u could be next to her cot so u don't have to walk upstairs. X

We used to use a gro bag but haven for a while she hates covers. We have a butterfly that glows and plays music. She never used to if give her milk and try snd take her up before she fell asleep And she would roll over and go to sleep x

Ewan the sheep or Russell the dream dog? We have the sheep and Noah is 1. Has she always been like it? Do u use a sleepbag and make her bedding smell of u?

Don't have room for a chair. If I we're sat on my bed or sofa or even stood holding her she would just fall asleep! But if I'm not holding her she won't even lay or sit in the cot without crying. We have a projector with music that we play every night doesn't matter tho. X

Maybe get a rocking chair or something and gradually get her used to self soothing. Start rocking her to sleep then maybe chance her down awake with you by her and patting then just beside her etc ? It would be long term but won't cause distress. You could also use white noise or lights or something so there is always a constant. X

Yeh could do means laying her in the cot tho and standing over her and feeding her while she lays there as no room to sit but I do that in the night so will try tonight if she will drink it she's right off her milk ATM xx

There's a sleep regression at 9 months so may just be that? Have you tried doing her sleep feed in the room she sleeps in so less chance of waking once she's asleep? xx

She's 9.5 months, when I let her cry it's for like a minute or two go back in lay her down and as soon as I turn around she's standing crying again! So leaving her to cry doesn't work one cos i can't listen to her crying and two cos she won't stop and she will be sick x

How old is she?

My son was similar but he eventually grew out of it. It's up to you whether you want to use some kind of sleeping training method or just wait it out. I personally couldn't let him cry it out.
