I had this in my room the other day hiding in the blinds. It took me a whole day to kill it, I had to wait for back up, now I refuse to open my window. ?

Comparing with Google images I'd of say so is your friend down south as that's were the highest recorded population is of them? X

Looks like one to me for sure! If you Google false widow it looks almost identical. They have short and long legs xx

No I don't think it is a false widow, it's a very common and harmless Giant house spider.

That being said, I would have freaked too, I hate them! Xx
