Yes my lo had a dummy and it really helped him.

He had it a lot of the time in his first few months but I gradually gave it to him less by 1 he just had it for sleep and by 16 months I took it away completely. I was lucky though as I didn't have to keep putting it back in at night, once his medication was sorted and working well he slept through the night.

I think it's defiantly worth it if it helps them with the pain x

Also I find giving him it when hes laying flat to be changed etc helps to prevent him bringing milk up.

I don't understand why some people are so against them!? As long as you keep them clean and make sure there needs are all met then what's the problem! Why deprive your baby of something that makes things easier for you and baby?

Yea, tommy has reflux and he had a dummy. It definately seems to help him when he's grizzly because of it. It's much better than letting her chew her or your hand as you can sterilise them and it'll be easier to break the habit as you can't take a hand away!

Emma do you think they would have helped a bit if he had taken one? My oh says no to dummy's! I doubt she would take one tbh but when she's sucking my finger sometimes it feels like she's gonna chomp it off! X
