Insurance question
Have any of y'all started making payments? My dr said I need to pay $1000 by I think March. I made a couple of payments then realized this baby will be born in another calendar year and I probably shouldn't make make payments until next year so it counts towards my deductible. Thoughts?
I was looking at the letter sent to me and it states "must be paid in full the sixth month of your pregnancy. Due by December." That means everyone that gives birth during the early months of January is screwed. We all would spend more money than those that have babies later in the year. I hope the previous person is right and the doctor doesn't file until next year. I definitely need to discuss this with my doctor.
I hope that's not the case. I called my insurance company and they said my doctor hasn't applied my $200 so maybe they're holding it until the balance is paid or I give birth. I'm just not going to make anymore payments until next year.
So, you will have to pay towards your deductible for this calendar year, even though it will start over in January. You will functionally be paying your deductible twice for one pregnancy. Not making payments til January doesn't mean those payments go on the new deductible. It's based on dates of service, so any services before 1-1-17 will be on your 2016 deductible.
Hope that helps!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I had to pay $500 by week 20 to the doctors office. Other than that, my doctor doesn't make me pay until baby is arrives and insurance says what they won't be covering. My insurance said they cover all but about $3,000 of the hospital bill and I have to pay a $10 copay at each doctor visit. Sounds like maybe your doctor just speeds the cost over the entire pregnancy?
