Just for you ladies. 6 months pp and 15 months pp. left is at 210 (around size 16) lbs and right is 145 (size 6). Look at them thighs!!!! I never thought I could lose all that weight. I'm pretty proud of the changes I have made. Stick to it ladies, it's possible if you work at it.
I only breast fed for a few months due to low supply. I was so depressed about being obese I was pretty much starving myself which made me not lose weight, in addition to not produce milk. Don't starve yourself....Eat healthy, eat your recommended daily intake, eat clean and try to get a workout in 3-5 times a week. Don't stress about weight loss in the first few months after having baby. The weight will come off, it just takes time.
As per my workout routine, I always went 5 times a week....6 or 7 when I was doing insanity. With my diet, I would have one cheat meal a week and I wouldn't go too overboard...like 2 sushi rolls for dinner or some desert when we eat out. Mind you, I did have some weeks where I just binged, but the next week I would jump back on it.
Thank you!! I would do an hour on the elliptical on weight loss mode (precor) and then 30 minutes weights, alternating days between upper and lower body. I also cut out bread, pasta, sugar and flower from my diet. Eat ever 2-3 hours. 300-400 calories for breakfast lunch and dinner and 100-150 calories for the two snacks (I typically have a banana for my morning snack and Greek yogurt for afternoon...or a protein bar. I also take protein with water after my workouts. If you do all th at, and stick to it, you're bound to be successful! It definitely doesn't happen over night. It took me 7 months. 2 lbs a week. Set small goals. 10 lbs every 5 weeks.
Hi!! U r my inspiration!!! Amazing changes!! I have a similar body frame like u do and am very impressed with ur changes.. I hope I can get there.. Currently started T25.. But u said u did an hour cardio initially.. Which type of cardio did u do.. I mean which machines.. Any advise on workouts would be great!!!
I started in February and was steadily losing 2 lbs a week. Now that I don't have as much to lose, I'm losing a couple of lbs a month. In Feb I was 210, and by Sept, I was 150. It's now January, and I fluctuate between 141-143 (haven't worked out since Thanksgiving). I'll start insanity next week :)
Thank you! I used to do an hour and a half workouts. In August, I started insanity which is 45 minutes of intense cardio. With the holidays, I've been slacking on my workouts and diet, but surprisingly, still losing because even though I'm not being as extreme as I was, I still eat 300-400 calorie meals with 100-200 calorie snacks.
I was at 185, then started working out and dieting and lost 10 lbs in a month, then found out I was preggo and immediately gained the weight back.
I carry my weight on my butt and thighs as well, but even my arms got huge....I was jut huge all around! I counted my calories, 300 for breakfast, lunch and dinner and 100-150 for two snacks and worked out 5 times a week. One hour cardio 20-30 minutes strength training. I've cut back to 30 minutes cardio 30 min strength since I hit 150.

Are you ladies up to tonight? I’m sitting here drinking some wine debating on taking a pregnancy test. I don’t really think I’m pregnant, but I have a leftover one in my purse from my last pregnancy. I usually get my period at the end of the month around the 20th and I haven’t gotten it yet. I am only 6 months pp and only have had two periods since having Jane. The chances I’m pregnant are slim to none to be honest, but it’s in the back of my head.
Great job!
