Help with carpet cleaning

What @mama said works a treat. I've had to do it recently to remove food/spew stains for my house inspection.

@five you can order online from dollar tree also ☺ I think you have to buy in bulk though. It gives you a minimum you have to buy

Hot water , vinigure and some blue dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray on rug , scrub with a bristled brush. Takes a lot of work but it gets it clean. I did this with all my rugs before I snatched up a 10$ 2nd hand rug shampooer ? I've always cleaned my rugs every 6 months

I would try dollar tree or 99 cent store. I also googled low residue carpet cleaner and companies who come out and clean them for you come up

My father in law is a carpet cleaner. He uses awesome from the dollar store and it works great. He puts some in the water

I used vinegar before. It wasn’t quite enough. This carpet was pretty bad when we moved in.

Maybe invest in your own carpet cleaner and use a hot water and vinegar solution?

My 5 mo will be crawling soon if I’m reading the signs right ?. My carpet needs seriously cleaned, but here aren’t any carpet cleaners here. I’m more than. Happy to do it myself, but I don’t care for the soap most cleaners make. Anyone know of a low-residue option I can buy or make? I’d greatly appreciate the help. Oh and I have a couple high traffic areas that need extra love if anyone has suggestions! Thanks!
