Huge mommy win!!!

So I’ve been cosleeping with dd almost from the start as she refused to sleep in her bassinet at night. I had sworn I’d never do that again (I don’t sleep well at all when cosleeping). Dd has been napping great in her bassinet and even just going to sleep for naps no rocking needed. So the last few weeks I’ve had her napping in her crib in her room. So last night I said it was enough and she was going to sleep in her crib at night. Y’all she went right to sleep. She did wake up 45 min in and fussed. And I tried to calm her for a good long while. I thought “oh crap it’s a bust” but she finally went back to sleep! She slept all night at that point waking only twice to eat then right back to sleep!!! I’m so excited. I haven’t slept that well since I was in my first trimester with her! I feel like a whole new being! Mommy win!

Well done that's amazing! Hope you all get lots of lovely sleep.

Mummy win today is that my DD is willing to go on the potty.

Day two of potty training so it's 50/50 if we make it in time but she is at least willing (at the moment)

I'm so pleased she likes the idea of wearing knickers. She can be quite stubborn sometimes with new things.

So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?

Would you be upset? Dd went camping with my mil and step fil. Well dd got back today and I was asking her how it went. She told me mil made her sleep in the car the first night with her step daughter who is 14. Dd said she was cold and scared that She was crying. She said mil and step fil slept in the tent. Wtf?? I asked mil if it was true and she said yes, that they got there late and she decided to just leave her in the car with it on. I'm very upset.

When did you... let your lo sleep with a pillow? My dd is 13 months old and my SO has been putting her down for naps with a pillow. He's off on Tuesdays and Fridays so while I work he's been doing this (I was unaware). Well today we were both home and she was getting tired so he took her to her room for a nap. When I went to check on her I saw she was sleeping on a pillow he gave her. She does fine with it obviously but it just seems so early. Anyone else start using a pillow this early?
