done having kids For those of you who are done having kids, did you just like know or what? We have two kids. Ds is going to be 4 on the 30th and I just had dd Feb 6th. My fiance says he doesn't want anymore. As of now, I don't feel like I want anymore either but I honestly don't know. I've always wanted three kids. We are still young (I'm 21, and he's 22) I'm no where near even thinking about having another at the moment. I really wanna get settled in life with good income and a nice home before having anymore if we do. So really, my question is, how do you know you're just done having kids?

Anniversary + Hungover DH Today is our 9th wedding anniversary. We had our neighbors over last night (we're moving so we're trying to spend time with everyone) and DH got so drunk. Now he is sick as a dog. I have planned a fun surprise day! We are going on a 3 hour canopy / zip lining tour and then dinner! I have already paid for the tour. I really hope I don't have to cancel.
Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?

Depends on just how allergic he is. My husband is super allergic. Like his eyes start puffing up if he pets a cat. I don't mind though. I hate cats so it gives me a perfect excuse to never have one ?

Or you could maybe go with the hairless ones? People seem to like them although personally I think they look like gremlins after they've turned

As wishing says it depends on the severity. my otherhalf is allergic to cats but he is fine if he doesnt let the cats near his face or all over him etc. He can't resist and still holds and pets them so also has his hayfever/allergy tablets handy.

Get him a toy kitty lol. My son wants a puppy but is perfectly happy with his toy puppy. He holds him all day, sleeps, showers with it and will say hia puppy is cold and put a blanket over it. He's 3 though

There are certain cat breeds that are considered "hypoallergenic or low allergy" that you guys can check out.
Balinese, Russian Blue and Siberian breeds are pretty cute!

Unfortunately there's too many critters (i.e. Coyotes and raccoons) for me to be comfortable with leaving a cat outside.

It depends on how badly he reacts. I think anyone is going to react when entering a home with 6 cats. My first cat was fantastic and for some reason none of my friends with cat allergies reacted to her.
Fast forward to now. We have two cats and my friends only react to the giant fluffy white one. The other has a unique coat. She's a tabby but brown and grey and nobody has reacted to her.
You could try a hairless cat, but if he is allergic to the saliva he's screwed.

We have a cat but SO was allergic. It was pretty bad when we first got here but he's fine to be around short hair cats now.

His mom always had one and he didn't have a problem but she was an outside barn cat. The only time he's had a problem was at a friends house and they have like 6 cats but still.

He sneezes just being around them? He'll be MISERABLE living with one and be the bad guy when kitty gets a new home

I think it depends on the severity of his allergy. Dh is mildly allergic but he's fine as long as the cat stays off of his clothes, pillow etc. Other people can't even walk inside a house if there's a cat.
Honestly though? Cats are a giant PITA. Not worth the hassle.

Nope nope nope. He THINKS he can deal with. Until he's sneezing nonstop and can't breathe. Then the rehoming talk would probably happen.
