Hey Wyo and any other mommies up there
Just want to get some insight. DH may be up for a promotion up there in Casper, and I've never been. The only part of Wyoming I've really been to is star valley and Yellowstone. So is Casper like that if anyone knows? How easy would it be to find some land to rent so I can have animals? Fingers crossed DH gets his promotion because it'd be a nice raise and the cost of living is cheaper up there according to bestplaces.net

Casper is very windy. All. The. Time. It is pretty flat, more of a high elevation desert than anything. Nothing like SV or Yellowstone.
Casper itself is a nice town. I'm actually going to be there on Saturday for a wedding. It's one of the bigger towns in Wyoming (which is still small for most).
Cost of living up here is generally quite low compared to a lot of the US. And we don't have any state income tax.
Where would you be moving from?

Well, I would say it is greener than west of SL is. Haha
Winters are very cold but that's all of Wyoming for you.

Lol just about every where's greener than west of slc lol. I'm hoping if we get there, we can find a bit of property. We'll see I guess.
