My baby thinks I'm an idiot ?
So last nigh was my 9 year anniversary. We had a yummy dinner of grilled steaks and mashed taters and other sides. My 7mo had mashed for dinner. Then came dessert. It was chocolate cake and thick homemade chocolate buttercream. I didn't want my 7mo having that much sugar and we can't eat around her without her having something or she will flip her noodle, so I gave her a graham cracker to gnaw on and sat down to my yummy cake. She took a look at me and my plate, looked at her cracker, looked back at me like I was stupid to think she wouldn't noticed, then threw down her cracker and screamed at me ?. So she got a couple nibbles of cake sans frosting.

Yep, my 11 month old and I were sitting on the couch a few days ago, I had a mars bar and I gave him a banana. He took a bite of his banana, looked at my mars bar, threw the banana at me, lent down and licked my Mars bar. Safe to say he knows the difference and wasn't letting me get away with it ?

Whenever my 14 mo old ds tries to share his food or drink even if we don't want any we "pretend" we eat, drink to encourage him to share. He offered me a sip of his milk from his bendy straw and I pretended to drink. So then I told him it was his turn to drink and he also "pretended" to drink from it.
Kids are way too smart nowadays ??
