Hi all? Progesterone anyone?
Hi all? Progesterone anyone?
Hey all. I'm expecting #3 on April 6. Lo#2 will be only 7 months tomorrow ?. Kinda freaking about the two under two with big brother only 3. Anywho I take progesterone to support my pregnancies due to multiple losses. Wondering if any of yall are in the same boat. I'm worried this time about how sick it makes me having such a young one. Oh well. I'll figure it out I guess.

Me!!! I have to take vaginal progesterone to support this pregnancy. It's my 7th baby and I'm still nursing. In afraid of miscarriage because I'm cramping but I'll try to stay positive.

I might have to take it as I'm still nursing my one year old. I'll find out from doc today or Monday if my levels look okay.
@DomesticEngineer - did your doc tell you to wean? My doc told me to but I put my foot down and said if my levels are okay I'm not going to. But, if it turns out they're low, I will probably wean despite not wanting to.

They didn't say anything yet but it's gonna be so hard if I have to,my son is ebf and even though he's 17mo,he has health issue and he won't eat regularly,so nursing is all he knows! ???

Oh goodness - yes, you keep doing what you're doing :) The progesterone should help to where it shouldn't be necessary to wean.

I take them orally myself. Seems to work better for me. I did wean my 7mo though because I wasn't sure how the hormones would affect her, plus my supply tanked ?

I took it vaginally last pregnancy and likely will again. I didn't start until about 18 weeks though. It made my pregnancy relatively stress free in that area. My first pregnancy I had preterm labor at 32 weeks and bed rest. Hoping to be prescribed it again at some point so I can have a second stress free pregnancy.

I had to take progestrone my last pregnancy. I took them orally. I will likely be put on them again since I have a history of miscarriages and difficult pregnancies. My husband is freaking out cause it can take up to two weeks for my insurance referral to go through so I can see the ob and this is the latest I have ever found out. I found out at 5 weeks 6 days.

I know the feeling. I called up to get my scrip, and the doctor wasn't in for two days. It wasn't pain and I was just sure (no logical but I still was afraid) that I'd lose my LO.
