Momma cloths and cups

So I'm looking to make a more health and environmentally conscious choice for my lady days. I really want to do the cup but i don't know what kind to get and they're a bit of an investment for my budget so it's not like I can try a couple of them. I did try the softies from Walmart just to see what they were like but they sit funny and aren't shaped at all like a diva cup or anything of that ilk. I've also debated trying momma cloth (I cloth diaper as well). Anywho, my question is what have yall tried and did you love it? Was it worth the money? Did anyone try the soft cups and later a different cup and preferred the latter? TIA

I use both. I have a moon cup and most of my cloths come from Party in my Pants. I've never tried the soft cups or any other cup.

I do both cloth pads and menstrual cup.

I have a Diva cup, simply because it seemed to be the most popular and kind of the "basic" model. It works GREAT for me! I am thinking about trying a different type when I've got the extra cash to spend, but for two years the Diva cup was just fine (currently pregnant). And I've tried Softcups so we could have clean period sex, but they're incredibly uncomfortable and seriously difficult to remove compared to reusable cups. Silicone is much softer and bends with your body so that you don't even notice it's there.

I like to use cloth pads occasionally, especially on lighter days it feels nice to let things "breathe" without a cup lol. Mine have a bamboo velour and are super soft! Disposable pads always made me itchy and sore, and the cloth doesn't do any of that. They're just as easy as cloth diapers to take care of, too. They're also really nice to have around during those first few cycles of using a menstrual cup when you're still learning and making messes.

It has all absolutely been worth the money to me, especially because I have extremely heavy periods. I was going through a box of super tampons every cycle, so the $35 Diva cup paid for itself rather quickly! Also, it's wonderful not having to worry about carrying around enough menstrual products on a daily basis, you don't have to pack anything and can even go purse-less!
