First prenatal exam?
I'm 5 weeks 3days. I have my first exam on Tuesday. Will I get a scan that day? I was originally scheduled for Friday when I would be 6weeks (they want to see me a little earlier than usual because I have adenomyosis and a uterine fibroid and because I'm a flight attendant). I'm just not sure what exactly they're planning to do when it's so early....
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Just curious.. When did you ladies first have sex? I had just turned 18 when I did.

Hi. Usually labs and history and physical. They may or may not do an ultrasound. If you're currently taking prenatal vitamins get some and take them everyday. Your can prescribe u some also. Best of luck

They'll probably have you pee in a cup and maybe take blood tests. They should do an ultrasound to check viability too
