Need some advice!
Please help me out. Layla still refuses to use the potty - AT ALL - but she’s started putting on her underwear by herself, usually over her diapers. I bought the underwear (Minnie and Daisy) as an incentive for potty training (“Only big girls who use the potty use this underwear!”) but now she just helps herself to the stash in the drawer. So while I don’t like this, I’m starting to wonder if it’s a step in the right direction. Or am I just being a pushover? Should I hide the underwear & keep enforcing that underwear is for potty use?
Such good advice! Em isn’t ready to potty train yet. We ready potty books, let her sit on the potty and her Godmother bought her the Minnie undies too ( so cute). We talk about going potty and we’re waiting for her to be ready. Our Dr said not to push her and wait till she’s ready & I agree. I know you want her potty trained before the new baby, but I think she’s showing signs and will show more. Maybe pull ups might help too, like to transition, but I don’t know. I’d let her wear the undies too. Em likes Elmo and we got a potty book where she can press Putin’s and it makes sounds. Daniel tiger also has a potty video that I like on YouTube. Watching videos helps Em a lot.
Thanks for the response, Chelsea! I’ve decided to just roll with it. I’m just hoping she can get there on her own by April. I’m due July 9th & don’t want her to be in the middle of it then or potty train right before & have a big regression...
Sounds like she isn’t 100% ready but is feeling out the idea. Just let her take the lead. Personally I’d just let go play around with the panties it can’t hurt anything but that’s just me ??♀️.
I tried the whole “no panties unless you’re a big girl and use the potty” and it back fired on me so I stopped enforcing it and stopped taking her to the potty every 30 mins. Eventually she started letting me know and we were fully potty trained in 3 days.
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
I followed the “Oh crap potty training” method — it’s a book by Jamie Glowacki. It helped me out a lot with potty training my son. The first few days were tough, but he caught on quickly. What I really needed to learn was how to teach him about the potty... listening to his body, and where the pee and poo belong. The book helped me work through the obstacles.
To be honest - it’s more of a process than I ever expected, but it has been so worth it. My son is a much happier kid without diapers!!
