If you want natural, 7th Gen is plant based. You would need too use hot water in your washes, but it's a great option

Oh, wow, so glad I posted! After I posted this I found on Google that Castile soap is not cloth-safe. But I'm so grateful for this input even for my own use! Thank you, girls!

Agree with all the above statements. Not even just cloth but it doesn't clean anything properly and can leave buildup on everything.

Like above stated this isn't going to clean your diapers correctly and can actually ruin modern day washing machines. If you want natural there's a bunch of different kinds to use that will work!

Homemade detergent causes build up and problems in cloth. It doesn't clean them properly

I would not use homemade detergent, it does not have the necessary ingredients to actually clean them.
