Baby WANTS crib
For the past few nights, Layla's been doing this really unusual thing where she asks to go in the crib at bedtime! Until now, I've been getting her to sleep in my arms & transferring her to the crib, but now she starts to flail and flip out (as if I'm torturing her!) if she's in my arms. She's 17 months old. Usually wakes once in the night and then we bring her in our bed.
Mine got like 8 teeth at once about 9 months ago. All at once. Worst 2 weeks yet. She got so sick with high fevers wouldn't eat, couldn't sleep, ended up with ear infections and nobody could figure out what the hell was causing for 2 straight weeks, I was getting frantic because she wouldn't nurse or eat at all and she was pitiful sick. one day she just had 3 new teeth, then more and then more and suddenly she starts eating and sleeping again. 4 molars. I didn't even know 9/10 month olds could get molars. I sincerely hope the teething passes soon.
Sorry you're having trouble, too!! I'm hoping this regression doesn't last too long. I'm also hoping it's the start of a better pattern, since she seems to want to {eventually} drift off in the crib most nights. She's also teething pretty bad. Is yours?
I should've explained better. She refuses to settle in my arms but she's also NOT settling herself in the crib, really. Not until she's beyond the point of exhaustion and has had at least 5 rounds of me trying to hold & comfort her. It's a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" situation. Believe me - I would gladly go back to the easy rock-to-sleep method we've been enjoying up until recently. I believe it's 1) a sleep regression and 2) molar teething (she's had a rash and fever). Last night it took 3 hours to settle and even then it was a cosleeping, frequently interrupted 7-hour night of sleep for her. It's miserable.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
Hi
I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
When mine started to not want me to rock them to sleep I'd lay them in bed, pat their back, song them songs, bounce their matters... It really helped them settle down and fall asleep. It's exhausting to do but it's way less stressful than them being upset lol This of course didn't work every night but it was definitely the best method I found.
