Pumping-Need opinions
I'm still pumping once/day for Layla. She's eating LOTS of solids now but I still BF on demand. I work 4am-12:30pm so I'm pumping so that she can have a bottle when she wakes up. Might be a dumb Q, but, do you think she still "needs" the wakeup bottle? My husband says she's still enjoying it but would prob be ok if she got breakfast right away. I'm sick of pumping but I don't want to take it from her if it's still beneficial. Thoughts? What would you do? I think I still have the "working mom guilt"...
Layla skipped her bottle this morning & yesterday morning and was fine!! I'm free! Hahaha. Thank you, again, for the advice, girls!
Thank you for the advice/support, girls! It's a good idea & we're going to try it! ??
I was going to do strictly breastfeeding but I'm going to actually do breastfeeding and pumping (bottle) because if not than she'll be hooked and will want my breast only and wouldn't work if she is left with her dad or something lol..
Anyone else doing both???
Tell me if I'm wrong here.
My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room.
She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱.
My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas....
My baby is still on the size bottles that you get in hospital because the tete on the tommee tippee bottles (and any other bottle) is too big for her... but i think I need to get her on the normal bottles now but is she still to small? She’s just over 6 pounds 🤔...
Or what is everyone else using to bottle feed baby at about that weight ?
so my husband wants to feed are baby but the thing is that I will be breastfeeding so idk how it would work. he was thinking that when he wants to feed him he would give him formula but I just want my baby to have breast milk. so then he said why don't you pump your milk out and I'll feed it to him and i thought that would be the best thing but then I'm scared that my baby will get use to the bottle. I need help idk what to do because my husband really wants to feed him :/ and we need to come up...
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
Yippee??
