Christmas decorating Maybe it's part of nesting, but I'm dying to decorate early for Christmas! Anyone else??

My c-section is on the 19th, I plan to put my Christmas stuff up before I have her. I know I won't be able to do it after surgery and my so could care less about decorating

Trying is the operative word for me, but decorating and Christmas cards are definitely on my immediate to do list. I don't want the baby to have a blah first Christmas.

Not me can't even believe it's almost Christmas sounds so crazy to say it.. where has this year gone ?.. soon it'll be 2016 omgosh..

I'm thinking of doing my Christmas decorating the first week of December. I think I may be horrible but I usually take the tree down the day after Christmas. It's funny cause I love christmas. My so looks at me funny when I sing christmas tunes.

I thought I would by now, I know it'll be tough with a new one but I just can't pull the trigger. If you have energy still, you're awesome. Go for it! I'm exhausted straight out of bed. The fam can do it & I'll plead nursing in my room when the fighting, or chaos begins. DH is a grump about the tree. It is a nightmare!!! 9ft x 6ft of Satan. This might just be the yr I get a new one if he has to battle it!

I decorate on November 1st every year. ? I like to decorate when Disneyland decorates lol Make the decorations worth all the money I spend on them. ?

We will probably decorate a little early because I don't want to be doing it with a newborn. We will put up decorations, but probably won't be turning on the tree lights and such til after thanksgiving, at least (which is normally when we put up tree). But we don't do a whole lot of decor, so it won't be overwhelming to have it around longer.

We usually decorate the day after thanksgiving but I am dying to decorate now. I've been trying to convince my hubby since Halloween lol

oh my goodness yess! I actually put our tree up like 2 weeks ago and finished decorating it like a week later lol! I just couldn't wait and I wanted to do it before the baby came!

I do! I do! Mainly because she is due so late in November I want to decorate while I have the energy now:-) I can't wait for baby's first Christmas! We have so many fun traditions to share with her, even if she will only be a month old!

I'm starting on Sunday while I'm still mobile. There is no way I can see myself putting up decorations once baby girl is here!

Yeah.. I gave in and just did it. Baby could come anytime now and I wanted it to be done so I wouldn't have to use the energy later :)

Glad I'm not the only one! I usually like to wait until after Thanksgiving, but I'm just so so excited for the season with the baby- plus, I'm thinking I may not want to decorate as a FTM with a newborn! ???❤️

Yes! My husband looked at me like I was insane. He knows my rule though, I refuse to decorate before it snows. We've got none forecasted so he just shook his head at me.

I want to too but my DH thinks I'm crazy. He might end up doing it all then lol.

Yesss! Me too! My husband won't allow it, though! Lol I've been satisfied by buying Christmas outfits for the baby. :)
