At the hospital in L&D with contractions.
I will be 23 weeks tomorrow. I have just been given a medicine to stop the contractions. I am 2cm dilated still hard and thick. Very scared.

I am being sent home with meds. I go to see dr again Tuesday to have a test done that can tell them if I will deliver within 2 weeks. They could not do it today because I had inserted my finger to feel my cervix. I guess the cervix has to be untouched for at least 24 hours.
I went through that same thing with my first. I had over exherted myself and was dilated to 2cm for the last three months of that pregnancy. The light of hope was I was on bedrest at home on as needed oral medication for contractions and delivered a perfectly healthy baby boy at 36w 1d. It does suck and I'm sorry you are having to go through it but these next few weeks of annoyance and frustration will be drop in the bucket compared to all the other good moments. Good luck.

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.

every time I have a contraction I feel like I have to poop or pee. Sometimes both 😩 is this Normal ??
I have a low tolerance of pain so I’m screwed either way 😂 but I am going to get through a natural birth no matter what!
Quick question: Are the contractions or pushing the most painful?
I’ve felt contractions with my first and omg. But I didn’t experience the pushing. He was way to tiny.
Vaginal labor is so easy I would rather take the contractions any day than to have to have a c section
i wish these contractions would either just stop or regulate . it hurts to touch my body from it contracting so much on and off .
