I have a glass of wine if out for a lunch/shopping day or a glass at weekend and still feed

If your safe to look after your baby then your safe to breast feed! I would usually have a couple of glasses of wine before I start to feel a little fuzzy then stop drinking. The older the baby the easier it is for them to metabolise. If your baby also eats solid foods and doesn't feed as often then they will get even less alcohol through your milk. When my lb was a new born I would have a small drink as soon as I had fed him so some d it would have been burned off by the time he fed again.

I didn't breastfeed Kai so I'm not too sure but I think I heard something like if you're alright to drive you're alright to breast feed? I'm sure someone else will be able to answer better tho haha xxx
