I'm gonna kill my OH????

Ergh having tonsils out as an adult is horrible. My husband did and took ages to recover. He's done the right thing by taking two weeks off work. A little tip, keeping the scabs wet helps with pain apparently so my husband carried around a water bottle and drank loads x

I had two weeks off when I had my tonsils out aged 25. It is a much more complex operation the older you are. I ended up with a bad infection and needing an extra week and strong antibiotics.

i got my tonsils out when i was 18☺️ i thought i was just going in for a wee op. 1 week after i woke up coughing up blood and had haemorrhaged rushed back in for emergency surgery? he will need time for it to heal over properly. dont be too harsh on him. good luck x

Hahahaha. To be fair my friend (also my manager) had hers out in march she is a bit of a tank like proper tough cookie and she said that by day 3 post op she cried for 5 days straight wondering why the f*** she done it. She said it was agonising. So god help you when he's had it done ??

Lol I would usually agree with the whole " man flu thing" but I'm a theatre nurse and take tonsils out all the time and as an adult it's genuinely a really painful surgery lol!

I had my tonsils out at 23 and emergency section last year and genuinely my tonsils hurt me so much more than my section! I remember being in genuine agony for two weeks. My section I was up within a few hours like nothing happened.

Best advice get him eating lots of toast and get him some Difflam spray from chemist!

Oh he drives me mad!! He sat an googled it all night last night.. I'm having surgery in the next two months. and I'll still be expected to clean and cook?? xx

Men are just massive b**** es swear down few weeks ago I was ill to the point where I couldn't stand without blacking out yet I stil powered through the house work and my oh had a blocked nose it was like the end of the world, laid in bed for hours whinging like a baby ? x

Oh Sophie I know! It's the same with me I'm not aloud to be ill? the house would go to s*** if I left him to it hahaha x

Men ?? my boyfriend had a stomach ache the other week was lay on the sofa with a blanket feeling sorry for him self , where as yesterday I was so poorly went and been sick come down tided up the living room washed up & done a new filter in the prep machine lol
