Just read on netmums that ears are hard to bruise and social services will be rang if I take him doctors as it's a classic sign of child abuse wtf?!!! Freaking out now?
It is one sign, but they will look for lots not jut one. Could he have knocked it playing rough and tumble yesterday? My sons are forever banging heads on the units in their rooms and not complaining. Any unexplained bruising should be checked, please don't worry if it's your normal gp they know you and won't judge xx
I've booked him at the doctors because I can't leave it and I have nothing to hide obviously he's so clumsy he falls over his own feet he's 15 months so he's abit un steady still he dosent sleep with a teddy no but could of banged it on the sides of the cot x
Ahh thanks vix made me feel better about that! And Kelly I'm not sure if he could of fell or slipped he can't tell me if it hurts because he dosent talk yet when I touch it he dosent flinch or nothing I'm at the doctors at 11:10 so hopefully will have answers thank you everyone xxx
My daughter whose now 3 fell awkwardly at nursary a few months ago and her ear was purple and it took ages to heal, I had to sign a wee form at the nursary so they couldn't get in trouble or anything, accidents happen at home, at nursary or anywhere and never feel afraid to go to the doctors, nowadays there is just so much pressure constantly xx
Yeah my doctors said never been scared to bring them in! They said they know I'm a good mum, was there a lot with my little girl every week so I do feel reassured now! Xx

It's really hard to damage the inside of your ear. Has he been anywhere without you this weekend?

My little boy slipped on the decking last year and fell in his side his ear was black! I painted it with anti slip after that.
Could be have fallen? Does he say it hurts?

To be honest if you'd hurt him yourself you'd hardly take him the docs to point it out would you lol so DO NOT WORRY your a good mummy xx
