For the past few days when layla feeds she sort of makes my boob click I can't explain it it's like she's not letting all the boob in and it pulls in over her tongue? Confusing I know she's feeding fine but she keeps coming off then going back on as if she's not latching proper but. I know she is.. xx
If it's not painful for you and baby is gaining weight and not distressed by it then I wouldn't worry ? one of mine did something similar - I'm convinced she had a lip tie (which they don't do anything about!!) but when she got a bit bigger it seemed to stop!
I'm not sure then ? does sound like it's not a good latch but not sure what else to try apart from unlatch and start again making sure she gets boob to the back of her mouth x
Yeah she was checked for both when she was born as had a hard time latching her on but she dosent have either xx
Is she tongue/lip tied? Has she been checked? My son clicking on me was a tongue tie that we booked to have snipped. We never corrected lip tie but we still had problems feeding so I wish we had x
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭
My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao
Advice please ? Long story... I'm getting married in April we decided no kids other than our own two and my niece And nephew as would end up more kids that adults and it would Cost so much more plus wanted parents to have a day/night to enjoy themselves. Anyway my "maid of honor" ( hasn't done much to help but cause me stress) has 5 kids her youngest will be around 5 months old she's breastfeeding him and keeps telling me she is gonna try and express ect... but I know she has no intentions of doing that and I worry she's gonna put me on the spot the day before and say he won't take a bottle (cos she wouldn't have tried) so she either can't come or has to bring him. I'm spending a lot of money for her dress, hair make up food ect... so deffo don't wanna be let down. But it's not just her that's got kids the ushers have kids and we said no kids. Now I know it's different as she's feeding him but I dunno what to do!? Do I say she can bring him (if my oh agrees too) or do I say she can't. This all sounds so awful when I read it but there will be two other guests that will have newer baby's than that coming and they arnt bringing them. The biggest thing is she's just not talking to me about any of this she's ignoring my messages and not making contact with me. But she's spoken to a friend about it who told her to talk to me and be honest about it all! Torn tbh as she's already not coming on my hen but still hasn't told me this!!! If she just came to me and said look I'm feeding my baby I don't wanna bottle feed him so either he comes or I can't I'd be happier she's being honest rather than dragging it out making out she gonna try and express. I don't expect her to I said it's down to her it's her baby. May I add that we fell out a while ago as she wasn't bothering with me ect any way we made up and I asked her be part of the wedding again so she could have said then I can but il have a baby then, but she didn't she just said it will be fine il sort out. So stressed ?
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

If she makes a clicking sound it's because she isn't quite latched properly and is slipping off when she makes the sound. It used to happen to my son in the early days up until about 10 weeks. Think his mouth was just so teeny for to fit my nipple in but when he got bigger it stopped. Have you tried the 'flipple' technique for getting your nipple as far back in her mouth as possible? Have a look on YouTube, that should stop the clicking!
